Telecommunications

Widespread and equitable telecoms connectivity serves as the foundation for inclusive data access and use.

Data about telecoms networks and spectrum can improve the planning of affordable Internet access. Increasingly, data gathered from telecom use is also explored as an alternative source of real-time demographic data, raising new data governance issues.
